Collection: Penny Lane Coats

The long coat with a shaggy fur collar and fur cuffs — named for Penny Lane, the character Kate Hudson played in Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous (2000), whose coat brought the shape back into view.

The shape belongs to the same family as the fleece-trimmed Afghan coats of the late 1960s and 1970s: skin or suede on the outside, fur at the edges, worn long and open. Here it runs through genuine shearling and suede, and through faux fur and faux shearling.

Each coat here is one of one. When it is gone, it is gone.
